ABOUT US

Shotfairy.com was founded with one mission in mind: to provide you and your family with safe and convenient vaccinations in the comfort of your home. Our service, currently offered in the South Loop and Beverly neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois, is designed to ensure the health and safety of your entire family. We offer vaccinations for adults and children. Parents especially appreciate Shotfairy.com’s “sleep time service” where our licensed nurses administer vaccines while your child is sleeping, thereby helping you and your child avoid the pain and anxiety associated with
office vaccinations.

DR. SCOTT HANLON

Dr. Hanlon is the founder and President of Shotfairy.com.  A board certified family
practice physician for 10 years, Dr. Hanlon is the father of three boys ages 3, 5,
and 7. As a physician, Dr. Hanlon knows how
important vaccinations are to a
child’s health, but as a parent, he understands how difficult it can be to ensure
that children receive them. Because he wanted to spare his sons the anxiety
and pain associated with an office vaccination, Dr. Hanlon began to
vaccinate them at home, while they
were sleeping. When Dr. Hanlon
told his friends and neighbors about
his practice of “sleep time shots,”
he was met with a common response: receive vaccinations in
the comfort and convenience of our own home? From that simple
question Shotfairy.com was born. Now Shotfairy.com, a state-licensed
service, offers a wide variety of routine vaccines for children, teens,
adults and seniors in the comfort and convenience of your home.

NURSE PEGGY MCKEEVER

Peggy McKeever is a registered family practice nurse.
She is also the mother of four children, ages 14, 12, 10, and 9. During her
past fifteen year tenure, Nurse McKeever has
administered thousands of
vaccinations. Her commitment to Shotfairy.com originates from her
personal experience as well. When Nurse McKeever’s son Connor
was young, he was so terrified of vaccinations that two nurses had
to hold him, kicking and screaming, while his shots were administered.
The next time he needed a shot, Nurse McKeever brought the vaccine
home and gave it to him while he slept.
Connor never woke. He
simply rolled over. When Nurse McKeever told her son the next
morning that he had received his shot while he
was sleeping,
he could not believe his good fortune. “I did?”,
he said smiling.
Nurse McKeever now vaccinates all of her children and many of
her nieces and nephews at home while they sleep.
